Session on Fair Trade Practices
ACIF, Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) and Pakistan Advertisers’ Society held a session on ‘Fair Trade Practices and Deceptive Marketing’ in Karachi on 11th May 2009. Chairman CCP Mr. Khalid Mirza was the Chief Guest at the event.
Intellectual Property Day 2009
ACIF sponsored a conference on Intellectual Property Day in Convention Center Islamabad on April 27, 2009 to stress the importance of protection of intellectual property, its enforcement in Pakistan and how it can boost the national economy. Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Yousuf Raza Gilani was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Media Workshop
ACIF held workshop titled ‘Role of Media in Protecting Legitimate Business Practices & Curbing Piracy’ in Karachi on 13th January 2009 as part of series of several awareness workshops organized by ACIF. Sind Minister for Information Ms. Shazia Mari was the Chief Guest at the event.
